On July 14, 2008, a small, mixed breed pup was rescued. She was about
5 weeks old, hairless, and infested with mange and fleas.We called her Flea.

Six weeks later, she was put up for adoption. She had been
nurtured back to health, and was finally ready to find her new home.

In August, Sara Grace and her mother came in to adopt her first pet. It
was a birthday present for Sara, she was turning 4 years old. Ironically,
Sara was adopted at birth...she too had to find a home, and was now
returning the favor by adopting an animal, instead of buying one.

Flea finally found a good, permanent home. Her name was changed
to Rose, and she now enjoys being a puppy, and having a loving
caring family to enjoy her new life with.
